Beginning his fourteenth year as Music Director at his home parish of St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church. Stephen leads a forty-five-member choir, a small chamber choir, youth choir and chanters who are responsible for leading approximately 500 services a year, three annual concerts and multiple workshops. Stephen also teaches and works as Music Director for Immaculata Classical Academy. There he is a Level 3 Ward Method Certified Instructor from Catholic University of America for primary-age students. When not in music class you can find him out on the soccer field with the students every day, playing as if he were in the World Cup. Stephen is Executive Director and Co-Founder of Artefact Ensemble. He is also a member of the GRAMMY®-nominated Saint Tikhon Choir. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Amanda and their three children.
