David Hendrix is a conductor, singer, and composer based out of Edmonds, WA. In addition to being the Artistic Director of the Evergreen Ensemble, David Hendrix is an active tenor in the Pacific Northwest, singing both as a soloist and ensemble member with some of the region’s premiere orchestras and vocal ensembles. He has been a featured soloist with the Seattle collective, Intimate Baroque, and the Portland Baroque Orchestra, as well as a number of vocal ensembles in the region. He is a regular
singer with the Portland based ensemble, Cappella Romana, Seattle based groups the Tudor Choir, Emerald Ensemble and Byrd Ensemble, the Vancouver Bach Festival Chamber Choir, and The Saint Tikhon Choir. He can also be heard as a soloist on recordings by the Tudor Choir and Byrd Ensemble. In addition to his singing engagements David also serves as the Director of Worship Arts at the Edmonds United Methodist Church, directing the choral ensembles and curating and leading music with the EUMC Music Collective. He also teaches voice privately in the greater Seattle area.
